Indefinite pronouns in Ukrainian are used to refer to unspecified or unknown people or things. They do not point to a specific noun, but instead refer to general or indefinite concepts.
The Indefinite pronouns are formed by adding particles: "де-", "аби-", "будь-", "хтозна-", "-сь", "-небудь" to interrogative pronouns.

In Ukrainian, negative pronouns are used to express negation or negativity in a sentence. These pronouns are different from regular pronouns as they indicate the absence of something rather than the presence of something.
Negative pronouns are formed by adding particle "ні" to interrogative pronouns:
ніхто́– no one
ніщо́ – nothing
нія́кий – none
нікотри́й – none
нічи́й – no one's
Indefinite and negative pronouns decline as corresponding interrogative pronouns.
In Ukrainian, unlike English, double negation is used all the time. We use a negative verb when we use negative words.
Examples with indefinite pronouns, negative pronouns and double negation:
Хто-не́будь ба́чив мої́ ключі́? - Has anyone seen my keys?
Ніхто́ не ба́чив. - No one has seen it. (Note: "Ніхто́ ба́чив." is incorrect.)
Хтось зна́є як це зроби́ти? - Does anyone know how to do it?
Ніхто́ не зна́є. - No one knows.
В ме́не є де́кілька книг. - I have a few books.
Скі́льки тобі́ тре́ба? - How many do you need?
Скі́льки-не́будь. - Any quantity.
Ніко́ли не кажи́ "ніко́ли". - Never say "never".
Він нічо́го не ро́бить. - He doesn't do anything.
Я нічо́го не ма́ю. - I have nothing.
Хтось зали́ши́в свій телефо́н на столі́. - Someone left their phone on the table.
Всі лю́блять пі́цу. - Everybody loves pizza.
Ніхто́ не зна́є ві́дповіді на це пита́ння. - Nobody knows the answer to that question.
Хтось, мабу́ть, з’їв все пе́чиво. - Someone must have eaten all the cookies.
Кі́лька мої́х дру́зів плану́ють подорожува́ти за кордо́н. - Several of my friends are planning to travel abroad.
Я не ба́чив ніко́го на ву́лиці. - I didn't see anyone outside.
Вони́ не змогли́ знайти́ нічо́го кори́сного. - They couldn't find anything useful.
Вона́ взагалі́ нічо́го не сказа́ла. - She didn't say anything at all.
Він ні́коли не слу́хає чиї́сь пора́ди. - He never listens to anyone's advice.
Сього́дні ніхто́ ніку́ди не хо́че ї́хати. - Nobody wants to go anywhere today.
Вона́ нічо́го не сказа́ла про но́вий прое́кт. - She didn't say anything about the new project.
Вони́ не ба́чили ніко́го, кого́ вони́ зна́ють на конце́рті. - They haven't seen anyone they know at the concert.
Ніхто́ не хо́че вихо́дити під дощ. - Nobody wants to go out in the rain.
Я нічо́го не їв від сніда́нку. - I haven't eaten anything since breakfast.
